MARINE INSURANCE COMPANY

The Company was constituted on 1 October 1970, when Scotsman Gordon F. Cave started services at the port of Valparaiso, Chile, as an exclusive P&I correspondent, and other related insurances, offering assistance and advice for incidents to insurers and their members.

In 1977, the company became Gordon F. Cave & Cia. Ltda. When the founder´s wife, Lee Cave, became involved. Gordon Cave died in 1991 for which reason the company underwent a change in its legal structure.

The current partners are Lee Cave and the three Cave children, Andrew, David and Ruth.
